Eddy Street Affordable Housing

At a time when housing in all forms is much needed, the project aims to deliver thoughtfully designed, high-quality affordable housing on a modest inner-urban site. Eddy Street provides 25 apartments—a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes—that support community, connection, and long-term sustainability. All dwellings are oriented north to maximise solar access, with deep overhangs and full-width balconies enhancing comfort and liveability. Intertenancy walls are expressed externally and project to enhance privacy between homes, while durable, affordable materials ensure longevity. Shared circulation spaces, landscaped communal areas, and street-level engagement foster a sense of belonging and neighbourliness, while also strengthening ties with the broader community.
